 | Sleep clothes (to be worn in sleeping bag only,

 | 1 long sleeve shirt (wool, flannel, fleece, may
be rain jacket or coat) |
 | 1 long pants (light cotton, no jeans, can be rain

 | 1 sweater or jacket (wool or polypropylene, you
just never know how the weather may change, it's

 | 1 sturdy rainsuit (easy accessible in pack) |
 | 1 stocking cap (wool or polypropylene to sleep
in, it gets cold at night) |
 | 1 glove or mittens (wool or polypropylene) |
 | Eating kit: Deep bowl (cereal bowl - plastic),
Cup (measuring style or insulated), Spoon (don't
bring knife or fork) |
 | 2-3 (1) quart water bottles (easy accessibility
in pack) |
 | Bandanna |
 | Sunglasses - Colorado is very sunny! |
 | Cleanup kit - Tooth brush and tooth paste, Comb,
Washcloth and towel, dental floss (this has many
uses) |
 | Backpack stove & fuel |
 | Water purifier (pump system with filter, look at
REI for options) |
 | Optional equipment (remember
optional) - Small pillow, Watch, Camera &
film, Mosquito Repellent, small musical
instrument (harmonica) |
