Welcome to the BSA Troop 637 Website

Boy Scout Troop 637 serves Sedalia, Larkspur, Castle Rock, Castle Pines, and Castle Pines North, Colorado and the surrounding communities.

Our troop is scout-led and has been in existence for 25 years. We maintain a rich tradition of empowering scouts to become leaders through troop meetings, outdoor adventures, and community service projects. We are a very active outdoors troop, camping year-round at least once a month. We offer regular camping opportunities for the whole troop as well as high adventure camping activities for scouts that have obtained the rank of First Class and above.

DIRECTV is hosting a "Packages for the Troops" event on Wednesday, August 18^thand has invited Troop 637 Scouts and adults to join in! Items will be collected, packaged and delivered to our troops deployed overseas. DIRECTV invites Troop 637 to collect items from the suggested list below:

There are over 3200 photos on the site and more to come! The best part of this site is that you have the ability to download the original full size picture that will give a high-quality print. Memorial Day Weekend Family Campout Report

The family campout at Rocky Mountain National Park was a great success. We had over 62 people attend. The Glacier Basin campground provided beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountain ranges and the weather couldn't have been better. We hiked to Emerald Lake on Saturday and to Alberta Falls on Sunday. The scouts did an awesome job with their patrol cooking and their new "mega-burger" recipe. Our troop was honored to have Casey's 81-year-old grandmother camp the weekend with us and share her memories as a Cub Scout Den leader and Girl Scout leader. Members of the troop also reported numerous sightings of deer and elk herds as well as one sighting of either Big Foot or a moose....I'll go with a moose.
